​Vance A. Larson (1951-2010), the late twin brother of the author, is the cover artist of the Doctor Goldbunny Trilogy.​

A prolific artist of cave and spirit paintings, portraiture, and abstract expressionism, over the course of his career, Larson painted over 10,000 original works of art, and won over 30 Best of Show awards in major American art shows from Dallas to Beverly Hills. His paintings are displayed in prestigious collections throughout the world.

​

In the Doctor Goldbunny  collection, Larson's petroglyph art is used to depict the Earth spirit as cave paintings and kachina images.
